I've liked this passage from that article. My feelings are similar.

"If the Eichi presents a modern, minimalist interpretation of movement finishing, Dufour spins an eloquent story of fine traditional watchmaking and Laurent Ferrier builds upon it an architectural vision with cleaner lines. In automobile analogies, perhap

Somewhat misleading, but does prove a point!

Very true! On the surface, it presents a fact that is probably very surprising to most people because 99% of people probably don't know how aerodynamics work and how Cd is measured. Take for instance: tire width is a significant contributor of coefficient

I would only buy a GT3 variant.

If I were forced to return to the Porsche Welt, I would return to a GT3 vehicle, which have improved tremendously and have recently become a double-wishbone suspension car. A more gentlemanly GT3 variant is the "GT3 Touring" variant which eliminates the b

Agree, Tiffany blue dial to appease high rollers was awkward.

The great thing is, there are so many options from inexpensive Chinese to British small producers, to some of the best hand crafted watchmakers. We have more choices than we ever had for timepieces. And if you want to follow the Ferrari crowd, go for it.

Just thought it would be cool to add this side-by-side profile comparison....

Of the Murcielago, and its replacement the Aventador. To my eyes, the newer vehicle is clearly more modernist/minimalist in its overall shape and lines, but the Murcielago is more elegant and sophisticated - the details are subtler and 'richer'.... In oth
